オバマ氏、就任演説

米国のオバマ新大統領は２０日の就任演説で、「責任の時代」を呼びかける。政府、国民が結束してそれぞれの責務を果たさなければ、イラク、アフガニスタンでの２つの戦争に加え、金融危機、景気後退に直面している厳しい状況を克服できないとの危機感が背景にはある。

大統領選を通じて人種、党派の壁を乗り越えて国民の団結を訴え、熱狂的な支持を集めたオバマ氏だが、就任直後から試練を迎えることになる。
